My Inspiration/ Ryan

I have never seen that person in my life but she’s my inspiration because is a famous artist who make a lot of popular paintings and sculptures.

Her name is Marta Minujin, her works have a kind of informal tendency. She says that “all is art” in life…

She started her studies in the national school of Art in Bs As. Her first presentation was in 1959 in a theatre call Wagon, and then she travelled to Paris to continue her studies.

She met Andy Warhol in New York, in an art gallery. He became her friend because they shared the same ideology. That’s why they took 10 photos with corns they called (“paying the Foreign debt with corns”)

Andy says that corns are like the Latin-American gold.

To sum Up Her originality and colourful works make her an icon of pop art. She is like our queen of pop. That’s why I want to be like her, I really like her style and how she paints.
