Tal Mahal

Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, that was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. the mausoleum itself was complete by 1643. The Taj Mahal (also "the Taj") is without a doubt the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. In addition what strike you is the imposing sight that you can have when the night start to fall and the green, large garden.

Inside, the interior walls are about 25 metres high. There is a large collection of paintings from different cultures and is full of calligraphy decoration.

The Tal Mahal is surrounded by several additional mausoleums, including those of Shah Jahan's other wives, and a larger tomb for Mumtaz's favorite servant. These structures, composed primarily of red sandstone, are typical of the smaller Mughal tombs of the era.

I think this building impress me not just because of it’s large even because is good decorating and represent something important.
