Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, that was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. the mausoleum itself was complete by 1643. The Taj Mahal (also "the Taj") is without a (iw) doubt the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. In addition what strike (gr) you is the imposing sight that you can have when the night start (gr) to fall ^ and the green, large garden.
Inside, the interior walls are about 25 metres high. There is a large collection of paintings from different cultures and ^ is full of calligraphy (gr) decoration.
The Tal Mahal is surrounded by several additional mausoleums, including those of Shah Jahan's other wives, and a larger tomb for Mumtaz's favorite servant. These structures, composed primarily of (gr) red sandstone, are typical of the smaller Mughal tombs of the era.
I think this building impress (gr) me not just because of it’s (gr) large (voc) even (gr) because ^ is good decorating (gr) and ^ represent (gr) something important.

THERE SHOULD MORE DISIPLINE IN SCHOOL (""REWRITE!!"") BY PECO
Violence in school is seen in many violent acts. For example, the students take guns to school and hurt their partners or make graffities on the wall. However, is punishing the students a good way of helping violent students?.
On the one hand, the director of school and teachers discipline the students. There should be strict rules that the students must obey. If the students dont respect the rules, they can be suspended from school.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks as regards strict rules. The students can rebel against the teacher and become more agressive.
To sum up, schools need more discipline but the teachers and directors should talk more with the students, and the parents should cooperate with the school.

Red Red Wine
Go to my head
Make me forget that i
Still need her so
Red, red wine
It`s up to you
All I can do, i`ve done
But mem`ries won`t go
No, mem`ries won`t go
I`d have thought
That with time
Thoughts of her
Would leave my head
I was wrong
And I find
Just one thing makes me forget
Red, red wine
Stay close to me
Don`t let me be alone
It`s tearin` apart
My blue, blue heart
---red red wine rap section---
Red red wine you make me feel so fine
You keep me rocking all of the time
Red red wine you make me feel so grand
I feel a million dollars when your just in my hand
Red red wine you make me feel so sad
Any time I see you go it makes me feel bad
Red red wine you make me feel so fine
Monkey pack him rizla pon the sweet dep line
Red red wine you give me whole heap of zing
Whole heap of zing mek me do me own thing
Redred wine you really know how fi love
Your kind of loving like a blessing from above
Red red wine I love you right from the start
Right from the start with all of my heart
Red red wine in a 80`s style
Red red wine in a modern beat style, yeah
(chorus)
Give me little time, help me clear up me mind
Give me little time, help me clear up me mind
Give me red wine because it make me feel fine
Mek me feel fine all of the time
Red red wine you make me feel so fine
Monkey pack him rizla on the sweet dep line
The line broke, the monkey get choke
Burn bad rizla pon him little rowing boat
Red red wine i`m gonna hold to you
Hold on to you cause I know you love true
Red red wine i`m gonna love you till I die
Love you till I die and that`s no lie
Red red wine can`t get you out my mind
Where ever you maybe i`ll surely find
I`ll surely find make no fuss jus` stick with us.
(chorus)
Red red wine you really know how fi love
Your kind of loving like a blessing from above
Red red wine I love you right from the start

JUNO (The Movie)
"Ellen Page stars as Juno (also the film’s title), a whip-smart teen confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker (Michael Cera). With the help of her hot best friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby), Juno finds her unborn child a “perfect” set of parents: an affluent suburban couple, Mark and Vanessa (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner), longing to adopt. Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents (JK Simmons and Allison Janney) as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs."
Author Comment: "I saw this movie at a special screening at UCLA, just as a last resort for something to do on a free Thursday night. I'm so glad I went, because it was amazing! I had no idea what the movie was about; I only knew Michael Cera (Superbad, Arrested Development) was in it, which was enough incentive for me to go.
I walked out literally skipping alongside my best friend, both humming to the tune of the great original songs from the movie. The theme of love existing in so many forms where you least expect to find it just lifted me right out of my doldrums, and made me look at life again from a different perspective. There's just too much to love about life, so many places you'll find it, and the only way to do it is just to live. Juno shows you reality, but it highlights the tiny details about love and life that you might start missing or forgetting about.
Excuse me for sounding so corny, but that's exactly what this movie did for me. To put it easily, it's a "feel-good" movie that leaves you FEELing GOOD. If you're down or just in the mood to be lifted up even higher, I recommend this movie for you.
Enjoy it :) and remember, love is always worth it."
MY COMMENT:
I really don't believe that someone could read al I left about the article, but anyway. I hope you got an idea about the film, I put that author comment because I believe that he felt the same as I did when I saw that film.
These is the best movie I've seen in this year. I see a lot of films all the time, and this really gets me, a lot!. The story is just fantastic, it really makes me think a lot about life and stuff (It can sound stupid for someone but I'm not joking). Another thing I really, really, really enjoyed was the music, a real good selection for the film; And, of course the performance of Ellen Page and her partners is amazing.
Ok, I think you already got my point, the film is more than great and I hope you'll see it if you haven't seen it yet.
Ah!, and here is the trailer for those that wants to see more.

An example to follow
In 1984, Bono and Adam Clayton participated in Band Aid to raise money for Ethiopian famine relief. The initiative produced the hit charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?", which would be the first among several collaborations between U2 and Bob Geldof. In July 1985, U2 played Live Aid, a follow-up to Band Aid's efforts. Bono and his wife Ali, invited by World Vision, later visited Ethiopia where they witnessed the famine first hand. Bono would later say this laid the groundwork for his Africa campaigning and some of his songwriting.
this is an example that anybody could imitate..at least in a smaller scale but any little thing helps to make the difference

AFRICA UNITE -
'Cause we're moving right out of Babylon
And we're going to our father's land
How good and how pleasant it would be
Before God and man, yeah
To see the unification of all Africans, yeah
As it's been said already let it be done, yeah
We are the children of the Rastaman
We are the children of the Higher Man
Africa, Unite 'cause the children wanna come home
Africa, Unite 'cause we're moving right out of Babylon
And we're grooving to our father's land
How good and how pleasant it would be
Before god and man
To see the unification of all Rastaman, yeah
As it's been said already let it be done, yeah
I tell you who we are under the sun
We are the children of the Rastaman
We are the children of the Higher Man
So, Africa, Unite, Africa, Unite
Unite for the benefit of your people
Unite for it's later than you think
Unite for the benefit of your children
Unite for it's later than you think
Africa awaits its creators, Africa awaiting its creators

The Lionesses
Union:Argentine Hockey Confederation
Full name:Black Sticks
Nickname(s): Las Leonas (The Lionesses)
Coach: Gabriel Minadeo (since 2004)
Top scorer: Vanina Oneto (148)
FIH ranking: 2nd
Las Leonas are Argentina's national women's field hockey team. They have achieved a total of six World Hockey Cup medals, two Olympic medals, four Champions Trophy medals, and six Pan American medals. Their nickname translates literally as "The Lionesses", but they are known worldwide as Las Leonas.
Hockey was introduced in Argentina by English immigrants in the beginning of the 20th century, and the first women's teams were officially formed in 1909. In 1997, Sergio Vigil, a former player for the men's national team, was appointed coach. Under his leadership, Las Leonas achieved their first World Hockey Cup title, their first Olympic medals, their first Champions Trophy medals, and many other achievements. The team went from having a rather limited audience to becoming a national sensation, with some of the players even appearing as models in advertising campaigns.
Throughout its history, the team has developed a reputation for being tenacious even when a match appears to be lost. For this reason, a lioness was chosen as their symbol when the team qualified for the 2000 Summer Olympics. During the second round of games, Argentina played against the powerful Dutch team, and they chose this occasion to place the image of a lioness on their shirts for the first time. Argentina won that match, went on to win the silver medal, and Las Leonas were born. The name also falls in line with an unwritten Argentine tradition of naming national teams after big cats: the men's rugby union team is called Los Pumas ("The Pumas"), and the women's volleyball team is known as Las Panteras ("The Panthers").
I post this article because I really like playing hockey and I’m so enthusiastic when practicing this sport. I choose an article about Las Leonas because they are currently representing the hockey of our country.

MY INSPIRATION / Mauro
He came to Corrientes from Santa Fé, and he was the fifth of nine sons, but one of them died when he was a child.
The thing is he didn't go to school, because he lived in a town, and a teacher went to teach him at home, so, he didn't have the secondary school degree. But he wanted to study social communication, and he "graduated" from this university career, but without the degree.
And he also studied photography as a hobbie and was a carpenter as a hobbie too. I love him.

Don't forget to keep taht smile on your face
Be a good boy Try a little harder
You've got to measure up
And make me prouder
How long before you screw it up
How many times do I have to tell you to hurry up
With everything I do for you
The least you can do is keep quiet
Be a good girl You've gotta try a little harder
That simply wasn't good enough To make us proud
I'll live through you I'll make you what I never was
If you're the best, then maybe so am Compared to him compared to her
I'm doing this for your own damn good
You'll make up for what I blew
What's the problem... why are you crying
Be a good boy Push a little farther now
That wasn't fast enough, To make us happy

So don't go away say what you say
But say that you'll stay
Forever and a day...in the time of my life

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

The Kooks
The Kooks previewed songs from their forthcoming second album last night (November 24) during an acoustic gig at the Union Chapel in
The show, part of the Mencap Little Sessions series of gigs in the venue, also saw The Pigeon Detectives play an electric set, and The Metros perform acoustically.
After The Pigeon Detectives delighted the sold-out crowd with a selection of favorites such as ‘Found Out’ and ’Romantic Type’, which had the crowds leaving their pew seats to dance in the aisles, The Kooks took the chapel stage at 21:30 GMT.
Wearing a white baggy shirt and red necktie, front-man Luke Pritchard led the four-piece through new song ’Harvest’ before a selection of old favorites such as ‘she moves in her own way’ and ’Ooh La’.
With the gig being acoustic, new songs such as ‘love it all’ and ‘always where I need to be’ sounded Neil Young-influenced, with Pritchard’s trademark whooping vocals bolstering a continuation of the band’s upbeat, melodic style.
Before performing new song ‘Shine on’, a crowd member shouted, “Hurry up and release a new album.”
The heckle annoyed Pritchard, who responded with a tired, “Alright, we have, it’s ready!”, referring to recently-completed recording sessions.
The Kooks are expected to release their new album in early 2008.
After performing ’naïve’, the band left the stage briefly then returned for an encore of further new songs and a rapturously-received rendition of ‘ Jackie Big Tits’.
Solar System's 'look-alike' found
By Paul Rincon Science reporter, BBC News, Belfast
Astronomers have discovered a planetary system orbiting a distant star which looks much like our own.
They found two planets that were close matches for Jupiter and Saturn orbiting a star about half the size of our Sun.
Martin Dominik, from St Andrews University in the UK, said the finding suggested systems like our own could be much more common than we thought.
And he told a major meeting that astronomers were on the brink of finding many more of them.
The St Andrews researcher said this planetary system, and others like it, could host terrestrial planets like Earth. It was just a matter of time before such worlds were detected, he explained.
Dr Dominik told BBC News: "We found a system with two planets that take the roles of Jupiter and Saturn in our Solar System. These two planets have a similar mass ratio and similar orbital radius and a similar orbital period.
"It looks like this may have formed in a similar way to our Solar System. And if this is the case, it looks like [our] Solar System cannot be unique in the Universe. There should be other similar systems out there which could host terrestrial planets."
Dr Dominik presented his work at the Royal Astronomical Society's National Astronomy Meeting in Belfast.
We post this article because it's very important to know that we have more planets where we can go when the earth collapses and find if there is life in others planets like aliens, monsters or other humans.
Airline Regulators Grapple With Engine-Shutdown Peril
Investigators Find New Icing Threat; FAA Proposes Rules
By ANDY PASZTORApril 7, 2008; Page A1
As a Qatar Airways flight dodged thunderstorms on approach to Shanghai in 2006, it encountered a problem that, until recently, was considered virtually impossible: nearly four miles above the earth, both engines of the big Airbus A330 shut down at the same time.
The engines quickly restarted and the pilots managed a safe landing. But the incident, along with similar ones before it, set off alarm bells throughout the industry because of the cause: ice inside the engines.
Modern jet engines long were thought to be impervious to internal icing. But airlines, regulators and weather scientists now think otherwise, and have been scrambling to figure out how to handle the hazard. Despite some progress, the shutdowns keep happening.
On Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration will propose new safety rules that are expected to apply eventually to about 1,200 widebody jetliners world-wide, including Boeing 747 jumbo jets. Pilots of those planes will be required to turn on engine anti-ice systems more frequently during descents, to reduce the chances of sudden shutdowns and to increase the likelihood that engines that quit will restart.
my comment: I think that all the countries have to work to improve the technology for the security of the airplanes. In the picture we can see that is a worldwide problem. In our country, there are many problems with the airplanes because of the tower controllers, the bad technologies, and the bad administration of the government of the Argentinian aviation.

This is the First record from this album

Jorge was an enthusiastic and funny person, he was, also, friendly, sweet and solidary. I really enjoyed all the classes, the camps and other activities that we did. I was very good
at sports and he encouraged me to be better in all the competitions, the groups activities and other things.
I really enjoyed the five or six years that he was my teacher, I loved going to PE because of all the creative ideas that he had.

After i started listening to his songs, i saw the world from another point of view.
His songs talk about many sociall problems, like discrimination, abuse, family violence, and love.
Many real facts, said in a different way, in a very beautiful tone.
It makes you realised of man things, and that text was happened with me, now i try to help people or at least give the importance that those topics need

My Inspiration / Agus
The person that I choose to be my inspiration is my Italian professor, her name is Teresa Pescarolo. I consider her my inspiration because she has taught me more than just contents of the Italian language. I’ve learned from her, cultural aspects of the Italian life and experiences about it.
I would like to have a similar life than hers because she has travelled to Italy several times. Besides, she has an exceptional sense of moral that I consider very important, I also choose her because I think she is a very clever and educated person.
Despite the fact that it was not easy for me to choose somebody, I thought about it, and she is the most suitable person.

My Inspiration and My Teachers
My Inspiration and My Teachers
By MalenaVara Dadone
If there’s someone who inspires me in life, those are my parents. Since I was little I have been able to see in them the model of person I wanna be, also they’ve always supported me in my decisions trying to give me all they could so I could be happy.
Since I could remember they’ve showed me that I’m responsible of my things, that means that everything I do will have consequences in me and my life. It sounds stupid but I personally believe that this is one of the most important values they’ve taught me: responsibility. Anyway I’ve always thought that the most important lesson they’ve taught me it’s that it doesn’t matter what I choose or what I do if it makes me happy.
They’re such a great parents, the best of all, and I have no doubt that I want to be like them when I grow up, at least half good parents they are, but with my own kids.

I'd never believe that he'd become an inpiration for me, because we didn't spend much time together but nowadays we share a lot of things together and he teaches me the importance to be an honest person as he is.
He alway shows me than just have everything you want, he says "you have to learn to share your own thoughts with other people, as well as you have to know how to listen to each other"
To sum up he inspired me patience it time of trouble, and taht is the way I would like to see

My Inspiration / Marikena
So my mum called a private teacher to teach me to solve math problems. She was Silvia and she made me like this problems and I started to play with them.
Actually I always remember her work. Now I know how I have to do to make a problem easy,in books and in the life. So I'm really pleased with her and I'd want her to remember me like I remember her.

I didn`t want to go to school.
I remember her because everyday for 3 months she helped me and inspired me to go to the kindergarden.
The problem was that my brother had been born and i was jealous, so i wanted to be all the time with my mum.
Everyday my father went with me to the kindergarden and he stayed there until the classes finish.
I was so nervous and everyday Ms. Molly tried to integrate me with other children.
that is why she is my inspiration.

My inspiration / Agustín
This guy is the person who u remembers when u do something wrong, or when you have to take action in an initiative where u have responsibilities.
This man is 45 years old now. He started and finished the school at the industrial school. Then he made the effort to the University of Engineers because his family was very por, and he achieved his goal.
When he was 26 years old, he graduated as an engineer and he got married with his girl, then they had 3 boys, very good boys. He had many Little jobs, in clubs, in houses, and then he started to work at Dpec, First he fixed processors at streets, then he was the head of the fixers, finally he was promoted to the commercial section. He handed many training class, the way he could in Buenos Aires.
This Person was my inspiration because I like how he started, and what he did to be everyday a little more professional in his work. The name of this person is Oscar. And he’s my only an best father.
have a nice wednesday:)

MY INSPIRATION
As u know, we've dealt with the topic of Teachers and Students and I gave u an assigment on Wednesday, 26: Write about a person that has influenced your life big time (Of course, it can be a teacher), aprox 100 / 120 words.
Firstly, you write it on a sheet of paper.
Secondly, you hand it in for me to correct the mistakes
Finally, you post it as a comment on this entry
If you are not a student of 6th year B, but you would like to participate in this post and tell your anecdote, YOU CAN DO IT. :)
Here's an example
To be a teacher is a very bold and courageous goal in life. Several of the most important and influential people in my life have been my former teachers. One of them, in particular, comes to my mind right away.
Raúl Acosta, my former History teacher, was a man who really CARED about how his students were doing. Sure, if you're going to be a teacher, you should care about your students, but this man went above and beyond so that his kids could feel they were progressing and were happy as well as successful. When our personal lives were affecting our academic life, he stepped in and made us see straight again.
He was very straight-forward, which is what most people need in their lives. He demanded a lot from all of us, but that was also what we got from him. He applied so many estrategies to help everyone learn not only the subject content, but also to think for ourselves and to question everything we read. He taught us to love our national history and, through his brilliant methodology , he made us realize that many things that happen currently, have their origins in our past history. He made us feel we could make a better world, that we could change what was wrong, that we could make a difference.
When it came around Exam time, he made sure that we felt confident enough to pass the tests. I passed all my exams with excellent marks, but most importantly, I felt that I had really learnt throughout the year .
He was a great man, teacher, and friend. I respect and admire him for everything he had done for us, and particularly for me, because he introduced me in the amazing world of being part of the process of Teaching and Learning. I think that is how my desire to be a teacher began.
